Get up and running with Netcatty in minutes

Download and Install

Download the latest release for your platform from GitHub Releases.Available for macOS (Universal), Windows (x64/arm64), and Linux (x64/arm64).
macOS users: After downloading, remove the quarantine attribute:
xattr -cr /Applications/Netcatty.app

Add Your First Host

Launch Netcatty and click the + button in the Vault to add a new host.Configure your connection:
  • Hostname: Your server’s IP or domain
  • Port: SSH port (default 22)
  • Username: Your SSH username
  • Authentication: Choose password or SSH key
Click Save to add the host to your vault.

Connect and Explore

Double-click your host to open a terminal session. Try these features:
  • Split panes: Right-click the terminal tab → Split Horizontal/Vertical
  • SFTP: Click the folder icon to browse remote files
  • Port forwarding: Access the Port Forwarding panel to create tunnels
Your workspace state is automatically saved and restored on next launch.
